- 1 - 3 surgical procedures per day
- Operating room only position
- Minimum of 3 assistants scheduled daily
- 1 call day per week with 1 backup day -- 1:4 weekend rotation
- No hospital rounding or admission duties
- First assist role for cardiothoracic procedures and vein harvesting
- Low call volume averaging 1 - 2 cases per month
