Job Description

In this position, you will be the welcoming face of the neighborhood as guests and residents enter. The Front Gate Safety Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety of our residential community. Operating as a solo officer, this position involves vigilant monitoring of visitors and premises using surveillance systems, ensuring a safe environment for all residents and guests. The officer is responsible for promptly reporting incidents, communicating effectively with residents and management, and maintaining accurate safety records.

Responsibilities

As you welcome guests and residents into the neighborhood, you must be able to remain on your feet/standing for extended periods of your shift
Provide a visible, professional presence to deter trespassing and enforce neighborhood rules
Screen visitors to verify identity and log each guest
Monitor safety conditions using surveillance systems around the residential community
Ability to de-escalate situations in a calm and professional manner
Report incidents promptly and accurately
Communicate safety policies and procedures to residents and visitors
Maintain detailed records of safety activities and incidents
Communicate any situations with the next Safety Officer at the end of your shift
Occasional driving patrol to monitor neighborhood and common areas

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in security or safety operations
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities
