Build Something That Lasts

Our client isn't looking for someone to manage what already exists. They're looking for someone who wants to build what comes next.

Beringer Aero is a French aerospace company with nearly 40 years of expertise in high-performance aircraft wheels, brakes, and systems for general aviation. Their products are trusted by pilots and operators who demand precision and reliability, and their reputation reflects it.

Their US operation in Greenville, South Carolina is entering its next phase, and they need an experienced industrial leader to help get there. They are looking for someone interested in building what comes next. That's where you come in.

The Role

As Industrial Operations Manager, you'll report directly to the CEO and have ownership over how Beringer Aero USA builds and scales its industrial organization. You'll work closely with the French Engineering and Industrial teams to define strategy, stand up processes, develop people, and establish the systems that carry the company through significant growth.

You will lead across four core functions: Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing.

You'll start with a team of approximately four people and build it to 15-20 over five years. In parallel, you'll manage a supply chain of 50-100 vendors. This is not a production floor management role. You're here to build the architecture around it, the structure, the standards, the culture, and the team.

What You'll Own

Design and implement the industrial organization, processes, and management systems for the US operation
Lead, develop, and coach functional managers and team leaders across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing
Partner with the French Engineering and Industrial teams to transfer know-how and best practices to the US
Drive the implementation of the ERP system and ensure full adoption
Manage a vendor network of 50-100 suppliers, building robust purchasing and supply chain processes
Establish KPIs, performance routines, and a continuous improvement culture
Anticipate future capacity, workforce, and infrastructure needs as production volumes grow
Support FAA regulatory compliance and represent the US industrial organization in audits and regulatory interactions

What They're Looking For

You have at least 10 years of experience in industrial and manufacturing operations, ideally in aviation. FAA regulatory familiarity is a real requirement. If you know the rules of the airworthiness game, you're already ahead.

You've managed managers and cross-functional teams, and you know what it takes to build an organization, not just run one.

You're a builder. You're energized by standing up processes where none exist, identifying what's missing before it becomes a problem, and developing people who grow into stronger leaders because of their time with you.

You're also a teacher. Beringer Aero values leaders who bring their team along, who help people understand the why, not just the what. If your instinct is to share knowledge and build capability rather than direct from above, you'll fit right in.

On paper, you bring:

Minimum 10 years of industrial/manufacturing experience
Strong background in aviation (general aviation preferred); FAA regulatory familiarity required
Proven experience structuring or building an industrial operation, department, or new activity
Strong grasp of the full industrial chain: Engineering through Delivery
ERP/MRP implementation experience
Experience managing a multi-vendor supply chain
Comfort in a regulated quality environment
Project management and problem-solving skills
Experience in a small or mid-sized company (highly desirable)
Degree in mechanical or production engineering preferred; strong experience can substitute
French language skills are a nice-to-have, not a requirement

The Location

This role is fully on-site in Greenville, South Carolina, and relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Greenville is one of the Southeast's most desirable mid-sized cities, growing, affordable, and a short drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Working Across Two Continents

You'll work closely with Beringer Aero's teams in France, and regular travel to France is expected, especially during the early phases of process development and ERP deployment.

Why Beringer Aero

Most companies ask you to steward what others have built. Beringer Aero asks you to build it yourself.

You'll report directly to the CEO and have real influence over how the US operation runs, grows, and evolves. For the right person, this role has a long runway, both within the US operation and within the broader Beringer Aero Group.

If you're an industrial leader motivated by complexity, energized by growth, and ready to leave a lasting mark, Beringer Aero wants to meet you.

Apply now and tell us about something you've built.
