Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, including water supply lines, drain systems, and fixtures.
Conduct plumbing inspections using specialized cameras to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise installation and repairs.
Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and plumbing inspection cameras safely and effectively on construction sites.
Perform drain cleaning using appropriate equipment to clear blockages and prevent future issues.
Follow local building codes and safety regulations diligently during all phases of work.
Assist in remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport tools, materials, and personnel to various job sites.
Heavy lifting of materials and equipment is often required; proper technique is essential for safety.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about project progress and maintenance needs.

Skills

Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial settings.
Skilled in welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications when necessary.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras.
Strong knowledge of water systems, drainage solutions, and plumbing system maintenance.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
Familiarity with local building codes to ensure compliance during all work activities.
Experience with remodeling projects including assembly of plumbing fixtures and components.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation or repairs.
Handyman experience or general construction site experience is highly valued for versatility on diverse projects.
