RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICIAN – DIRECT HIRE

ORR Construction Company is seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable electrician who can perform residential electrical work from rough-in through finish on new construction, additions, remodels, and ADU projects.

PAY: $35–$55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

POSITION: Full-Time | Direct Hire
WORK AREA: Orange County & Los Angeles County

Responsibilities

Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and modifications
Perform electrical rough-in and finish work
Install and connect panels, breakers, outlets, switches, lighting, and fixtures
Install residential branch circuits and wiring
Work on new construction, remodels, additions, and ADUs
Read and interpret electrical plans and construction drawings
Coordinate electrical work with framing, plumbing, HVAC, and other trades
Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify potential problems
Follow applicable California electrical codes and project specifications
Coordinate inspections and correct inspection-related items as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Communicate project status and material needs to the project manager/superintendent

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience preferred
Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems
Ability to read electrical plans
Experience with residential new construction and remodeling
Knowledge of California electrical code requirements
Ability to work independently and complete assigned work on schedule
Reliable transportation
Dependable attendance and professional attitude
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Journeyman-level residential electricians and experienced lead electricians are encouraged to apply.
