Company Description

Job reports to Norwalk, CA
Over the last 65 plus years, our best heating/air techs have come with a background of loving home improvement projects, tinkering with their cars, or enjoys the challenges and satisfaction that comes from solving problems associated with building something from scratch. We’re interested in employees who love working with their hands, and creating raving fans with our customers with their mechanical problem solving.
We’re Norwalk-La Mirada Plumbing/Heating and Air Conditioning, one of the most recognized and respected plumbing, heating, and air conditioning service companies servicing both residential and commercial customers in Southern California.
Our mission is to establish ourselves as one of the very best, reputable, and successful plumbing-heating-air conditioning companies. We’re seeking experienced techs to help us grow our business.
Why would you consider moving to another Plumbing-Heating-Air Conditioning company?
Maybe you’re frustrated over a compensation plan that does not tie to your effort or performance – you feel for your effort you should be earning at a higher level. Maybe you’re frustrated by the constant push to sell customers, especially in the gray area of things your customers don’t need. Finally, perhaps you’re a little frustrated by the inconsistency of work. Sometimes you’re busy and sometimes you’re not. Sometimes, you’ve got to call in and try to chase/beg for projects or opportunities. You can’t stand the up-and-down cycle of trying to make a living that goes on in most plumbing-heating-air conditioning companies.
Our ideal candidate has been a tech for at least 10 years. You’ve split your experience evenly between residential and light commercial work. You’ve worked in companies that have stellar reputations reflected in customer comments in apps reflecting commercial and residential services – such as Yelp. In your previous roles, you’ve literally created “Raving Fans”. You drive a lot of repeat business. When your prior customers call in they actually ask for you by name, “I only want ____ to come out because he/she did such a great job last time”.
You’ve got a burning desire to have customers overjoyed with your service, quality of work, and the ethics of recommendations – something that’s sometimes questionable in home/commercial repair services.
If you would like to be part of a stable and growing business (65 plus years), have consistent work, not be angry over the most common frustrations that techs have to put up with in most companies, and you could see this as your last company, then send a resume to: Wes@laplumber.com
