Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Designer - Controls to support a growing engineering organization in Dayton, OH. This onsite role offers the opportunity to support electrical engineering projects and custom control panel design while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Location: Onsite - Dayton, OH
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (W2)
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Create electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and circuit layouts.
Develop and modify electrical drawings using Revit.
Support projects from design through fabrication and installation.
Assist with PLC and HMI electrical design documentation.
Support control panel design and fabrication activities.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and fabrication teams to deliver practical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency with Revit.
Experience with electrical design, wiring, circuits, cable systems, and electrical documentation.
Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.
Associate degree with 3+ years of electrical design experience OR Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of electrical design experience.
Solid attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred:

Control panel design and/or fabrication experience.
