About the Role:

Join Wales in the Bronx as a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in adult medicine. We are seeking a passionate Spanish-speaking professional to provide exceptional care to our diverse community, enhancing access to quality healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of adult patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Perform routine physical examinations and health screenings.
Manage chronic conditions and provide patient education on health maintenance.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
Provide culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking patients.
Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities.

Requirements:

Current NP or PA license in New York State.
Experience in adult medicine or primary care preferred.
Fluency in Spanish is required for effective communication.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Flexible schedule with availability for part-time hours.
