Job Description Job Description

After a highly rewarding career serving our community, I am preparing for retirement. I am looking for an ambitious HVACR professional to take over an established, highly respected, and profitable business with a loyal, built-in customer base, prime territory and incredible untapped growth potential.

Our shop is uniquely situated in beautiful Monterey County California. For years, I have intentionally kept operations stable, focusing on being a hands-on 'worker bee' rather than aggressively expanding. As a result, the business has a rock-solid foundation, an elite regional reputation and a massive amount of market potential that is ready to unlock.

This is not just a job; it is a turnkey business opportunity perfect for an ambitious, experienced service manager, or licensed technician looking to transition into business ownership without starting from scratch.

About the Business:

Established Reputation: Decades of reliable service in our community with high customer retention rates and a stellar reputation for technical excellence.
Strong Mix of Work: A healthy, consistent balance of residential and commercial service, system replacements, and light commercial maintenance.
Flexible Transition & Financial Terms:
Earn-In / Gradual Buyout Welcomed: I am entirely open to structuring a gradual buyout.
Shared Value Partnership: I am highly motivated to stay on and work together for an initial transition period. Let's combine my deep local roots and technical knowledge with your fresh energy to drive immediate growth, allowing us to share in the increased value we build together. I am deeply committed to the future success of this company, our employees, and our clients.

The Ideal Successor:

Holds or is capable of obtaining the necessary California licensing.
Strong technical background with high integrity and excellent client-facing skills
An entrepreneurial mindset - someone ready to step out of the field or middle management and scale an established company
High integrity, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the honest, high-quality service our clients expect
Ready to step into a leadership role and drive the business into it's next chapter

Next Steps:

If you have the technical drive, want to control your own destiny as a business owner on the Central Coast, and are ready to discuss this unique joint opportunity, let's talk. All inquiries will be kept strictly confidential.
