Job Description

Take Your Diesel Repair Career to the Next Level

Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your diesel repair skills and build a long-term career with a team that wants to see you succeed?

At DMR Diesel Repair, you’ll work in a diesel-only repair shop specializing in light- and medium-duty trucks. Our work includes Dodge/Ram Cummins, Chevrolet/GMC Duramax, Ford Power Stroke, and other diesel-powered vehicles.

You’ll gain experience across a variety of maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work while learning alongside experienced professionals who share their knowledge, support one another, and take pride in delivering excellent results.

We’re building a championship-level shop—not around one superstar, but around a team of people who communicate, prepare, play their part, and work toward the same goal.

That’s the kind of team you’ll be joining.

The Shop You’ll Work In

A good technician needs more than a bay and a work order. You need the right environment, resources, and support to do your best work.

At DMR Diesel Repair, you can expect:

A steady flow of light- and medium-duty diesel work
Experience across Cummins, Duramax, Power Stroke, and other diesel platforms
3 organized service bays with 2 two-post lifts, 1 four-post lift with air jacks
Access to all the best of the best scan tools such as Snap-On, Autel, OEM software when needed, and several forms of service information such as Pro Demand, Alldata, and OEM.
Well maintained shop equipment. Not equipment held together with hopes and dreams.
Support from experienced technicians when a job moves beyond your current skill level
Clear communication between technicians, service advisors, and management
An organized workflow designed to keep jobs moving
A clean, professional environment where quality work is expected and supported

We don’t believe technicians should be handed a difficult job and left to struggle alone. You’ll be expected to think through problems and develop your abilities, but you’ll also have experienced people and reliable resources available when you need direction.

What Makes This a Championship Shop?

You’ll be part of a true team. Everyone contributes, helps where needed, and shares in the shop’s success.
Your growth matters. We support technicians who want to learn, improve, and advance their careers.
Quality comes before shortcuts. We care about accurate diagnostics, dependable repairs, clean work, and returning vehicles to customers safely.
Communication is part of the job. Technicians, service advisors, and management work together to keep jobs moving.
Your experience is respected. Your judgment, time, ideas, and contribution have value here.
Good work is recognized. We notice the people who consistently contribute and take pride in what they do.
We win together. When the shop succeeds, every member of the team should feel part of that success.

Our goal is to create a shop where clear expectations, reliable support, professional development, and high-quality work bring out the best in every member of the team.

An Opportunity to Keep Growing

As a Diesel Technician, you’ll build on your existing experience while performing preventive maintenance, inspections, general repairs, and intermediate diagnostic work.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. You need a solid mechanical foundation, a desire to learn, and pride in doing dependable work.

This could be a great fit for you if you:

Have hands-on diesel repair experience
Can perform maintenance and common mechanical repairs efficiently
Understand basic electrical and diagnostic processes
Take pride in producing safe, dependable work
Keep your tools and work area organized
Communicate when you need assistance or discover an additional problem
Welcome feedback and opportunities to learn
Enjoy helping teammates and contributing to a positive shop environment
Want to continue developing your skills and career

Compensation and Benefits

Excellent pay compensation based on skill and performance
Health insurance options
Paid holidays and PTO
401(k) with a 3% company match
Diesel specific training and certification support
A consistent Monday–Friday schedule, 7:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
A professional shop where quality work is recognized
A team invested in helping you succeed

Become Part of the Team

If you want to become a stronger diesel technician, work alongside people who care about their craft, and help build a championship-level shop, we’d like to meet you.

Bring us the skills and experience you have today. We’ll give you the opportunity, resources, and support to keep building what comes next.
