Digital Tool and Die is an established tool and die shop located in Grandville Michigan. We specialize in designing and fabricating world-class sheet metal stamping dies, roll forming, fixtures, fabrication, and special applications to meet the industrial needs for automotive, furniture, prototyping, appliicance, and U.S. Military.

Digital Tool & Die is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Administration Assistant to support daily administrative, human resources, payroll, accounting, and ERP functions. This role is responsible for maintaining efficient office operations while providing administrative support across multiple departments within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, employees, applicants, customers, and vendors.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and correspondence.
Maintain organized company records, files, and documentation.
Manage office supply and break room inventories.
Assist with company events, meetings, and employee activities.
Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and document management.

Human Resources

Assist with employee onboarding and orientation through ADP.
Maintain personnel records accurately and confidentially.
Support payroll administration, benefits enrollment, and HR-related activities.
Assist with employee communications and documentation.

Payroll & Accounting

Process payroll accurately through ADP.
Maintain payroll records and complete payroll-related filings.
Assist with accounts payable, invoice processing, and record retention.
Support purchasing and accounting functions as assigned.

ERP & Work Order Processing

Enter work orders into the ERP system (Global Shop Solutions).
Coordinate the transfer of completed work order packages to the Project Coordinator for review and release.
Maintain accurate ERP records and assist with data management and system maintenance activities.

1+ years Previous experience in administrative, accounting, HR, or office support roles preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Global Shop Solutions, ADP, or similar ERP and payroll systems preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a manufacturing environment.
