Job Description

The Electrician Journeyman plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Working within a small team of 1-3 members and reporting to a Master Electrician, this position demands adherence to safety standards and electrical codes, ensuring reliable and code-compliant electrical work. Occasional regional travel is required to support various job sites.

Responsibilities

Install wiring and electrical equipment according to project specifications
Maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure proper functioning
Troubleshoot electrical issues and resolve system malfunctions
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory codes
Conduct testing and inspections of electrical installations
Perform conduit bending and other preparation tasks

Required Qualifications

Valid Journeyman Electrician License

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in electrical work
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in electrical wiring and blueprint reading
Strong knowledge of safety compliance and electrical codes
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Manual dexterity and ability to perform conduit bending
Good communication skills
