Join a Commercial HVAC Team Where You’re More Than a Number

Blue Mountain Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing service team in North Georgia.

We are looking for a well-rounded technician who can troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair a variety of commercial HVAC systems. You do not need to specialize in one specific type of equipment. Experience with chillers is a plus, but it is not required.

This is a service-focused position, not a new-construction or installation role. You’ll work across a variety of commercial and light industrial environments, including office buildings, manufacturing facilities, and other commercial properties throughout the North Atlanta area.

At Blue Mountain Mechanical, technicians aren't treated like numbers. We genuinely care about our employees and want to help our people grow both professionally and personally. You'll have the support you need to do your job well while working for a company built around integrity, honesty, quality, and trust.

What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC equipment
Perform commercial HVAC service and maintenance across a variety of customer facilities
Work on equipment including rooftop units, VRF systems, chillers, boilers, pumps, hydronic systems, split systems, and other commercial HVAC equipment
Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions, repairs, and service needs
Complete service documentation and paperwork accurately and on time
Minimize callbacks by properly diagnosing and completing repairs the first time
Participate in the rotating on-call schedule

What We’re Looking For

Commercial HVAC service experience required
5+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Experience working with a variety of commercial HVAC equipment
Chiller experience is a plus, but not required
EPA Universal Certification
Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable for company vehicle insurance
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong customer communication skills
Dependable, professional, and able to work independently in the field

Additional HVAC certifications are a plus, but we're more interested in what you can actually do in the field.

Pay & Schedule

$28–$58 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
Standard schedule is typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Technicians typically work approximately 45–60 hours per week, depending on workload
Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 8 hours in a day
On-call rotation is approximately one 7-day rotation every 7–8 weeks, based on current staffing

What We Provide

Full benefits package
Take-home company service vehicle
Company phone or reimbursement for use of your personal phone
Tablet available for technicians who prefer to use one in the field
Overtime opportunities
Stable commercial service work
Support from a company that values its technicians and wants to see them grow
