Job Description Job Description

We Change Livez. Want to help?

Clean Eatz is a locally owned, community-focused healthy-meal café brand with four Greater Cincinnati locations (Harrison Ave, Newport, Montgomery, and Eastgate) and one big goal: make Cincinnati one of the healthiest cities in America. Every week, our Newport commissary cooks, portions, and packs thousands of meal-plan and Grab 'n Go meals that go out to all four cafés and our smart-fridge vending machines around town.

Our Kitchen Manager owns the food. We're hiring the person who owns everything around it.

THE JOB

You'll be the operations and data brain of our production hub. If you're the kind of person who color-codes a spreadsheet for fun and gets a little too satisfied when a checklist is fully checked, keep reading.

You will:

Run the Monday forecast: pull the week's orders, set batch counts, and get better at it every week.
Turn batch counts into a purchase list, place the order, and check deliveries in at the door.
Build the production schedule with the Kitchen Manager and track meals per labor hour on every build.
Own the logs: temperatures, dates, batches, waste. Chase every missing entry the same day.
Build the delivery manifest for every run and make sure the right meals land at the right café, on time and on temp.
Run weekly inventory counts and put together the weekly production report for the owner.
Write the checklists and SOPs that turn "how we've always done it" into "how it's done."

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

1-3 years in a food, restaurant, warehouse, logistics, or production setting, or a recent grad in supply chain, operations, business, hospitality, or food science. Some kitchen experience is a plus, not a must.
Organized to a fault. Detail-oriented. Reliable.
Comfortable in spreadsheets and with numbers. You can keep a tracker clean and turn it into a one-page report.
ServSafe Food Handler now, or willing to get it fast. We'll pay for your ServSafe Manager within 90 days.
Early Monday mornings, every week. The forecast waits for no one.
Able to work a production floor: on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs, in and out of coolers.
Coachable, curious, and hungry to learn how a food business actually runs.

WHY THIS ROLE

This is a real growth seat. You'll learn forecasting, purchasing, production planning, food safety, logistics, and inventory from the inside, working directly with the owner and the Kitchen Manager. Do it well and you're on track to become our Production Manager as the hub grows. You'll also eat very well. That part is not negotiable.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

Full-time, consistent hours
Company-paid ServSafe Manager certification
Free and discounted meals (yes, the ones you helped make)
A locally owned business where your work shows up on plates across Cincinnati every week

HOW TO APPLY

Share your resume and a few sentences about the most organized thing you've ever done. We read every application.
